Friends
of Davey and Goliath Gathering - New York
A Friends
of Davey and Goliath fundraiser took place on September 23, 2003
at the Interchurch Center, located at 475 Riverside Drive, New York,
NY. The fundraiser event included a screening of the documentary, "Oh
Davey! History of the 'Davey and Goliath' Television Series."
Seventy-three people attended the New York screening in the InterChurch Center's chapel. Those present included Mary McDonough and
Marshall Stross (with his wife and son) as well as Sally Klos, widow
of "Davey" co-creator Frank Klos. Bishop Bouman and most of his staff
were there (and were wonderful hosts - special thanks to Pat
Lawrence). Bishop Riley and his administrative assistant were also
there. Many other dear colleagues and friends were present including
Lilly Wu, Bob Lee, Walter Jensen, and Roy Lloyd among others. A number
of folks came because of the notice in "Time Out New York" magazine.
