Friends
of Davey and Goliath Gathering - California
A Friends
of Davey and Goliath fundraiser took place on September 21, 2003
at California Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks, CA. The fundraiser event included a screening of the documentary, "Oh
Davey! History of the 'Davey and Goliath' Television Series."
The documentary screening at California Lutheran University attracted
60 people. This included around 10 children and a number of
communication students including a reporter from the college
newspaper. Art & Joe Clokey were with us and Art autographed many "Davey"
products sold by Augsburg Fortress after the screening. The CLU staff
were wonderful hosts. A very fine afternoon.
